Valuetech is glad to announce the kick-off of the R&D project named ASSD – SEMANTIC ACCELERATORS SOCIAL DRIVEN
The project born from the partnership between Valuetech and 2 other companies CELI and Eurora, involves R&D activities for the design of operational research models and semantic algorithms capable of self-generate tourist itineraries, allowing their consultation through conversational interfaces.
The project will be supported also by external consulting by University of Calabria and University of Turin.
The ability of the project to “read” in advance trends and guidelines in the tourism market through Social Media Monitoring, will allow the tourism industry to target their investments on the more interesting and popular areas, reinforcing its tourist offer.
The project is co-financed by the Calabria Region and the European Union to use the POR CALABRIA FERS-FSE 2014-2020 funds, PROMOZIONE DELLA RICERCA E DELL’INNOVAZIONE – Obiettivo specifico 1.2 “Rafforzamento del sistema innovativo regionale e nazionale”- Azione 1.2.2 “Supporto alla realizzazione di progetti complessi di attività di ricerca e sviluppo su poche aree tematiche di rilievo e all’applicazione di soluzioni tecnologiche funzionali alla realizzazione delle strategie di S3”. In particular, the project lies within the Tourism and Culture area of innovation.
